Get curious about yourself but beware: it may be uncomfortable! Brené Brown describes in her book, Rising Strong, “brain chemistry changes when we become curious, helping us better learn and retain information. But curiosity is uncomfortable because it involves uncertainty and vulnerability… especially with emotions.” The more you can get curious about yourself and learn how you think, feel, and believe, the more you are courageously choosing to live bravely, not comfortably.
