How are your listening skills? If you are like me, there is always room to grow. One of my favorite books about listening is A Hidden Wholeness by Parker Palmer. In it, Palmer says, “Listen in on a conversation and see how often we respond to each other by agreeing, disagreeing, or simply changing the subject!” It takes effort and energy to be a good listener.

If you just sit this week, instead of being a “fixer” or a “subject-changer,” what would you hear differently?
